The Department of Vector Biology has a research portfolio spanning from studies on the functional genomics, behaviour and ecology of disease vectors, to clinical trials, implementation research and the development of tools for monitoring and evaluation of disease transmission. Our aim is to contribute to the control or elimination of vector borne diseases afflicting the world’s poorest populations.
