LSTM and Lancaster University are delighted to offer two Medical Research Council (MRC) Skills Development Fellowship (SDF) opportunities to commence before June 2019. The SDF scheme provides early career researchers the opportunity to explore, consolidate and develop their skills in one of the key priority areas as defined by the MRC.
In line with these key priorities, we are looking for candidates with an interest and demonstrable skill background in mathematics, statistics, computation, informatics, health economics and/or mixed methods research applicable to any biomedical or health-related data sources, from molecular to population level.

Our aim is to train the next generation of research leaders with skills to advance in the field between global health and quantitative disciplines
