Sarah is a Consultant Paediatrician, with a strong interest in global child health. She has worked for four years in East Africa; 2 years with British charity VSO in semi-rural Tanzania, and 2 years as a Lecturer for the Malawi College of Medicine at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, Blantyre.Sarah has an interest in Paediatric respiratory medicine and has previously conducted research describing chronic respiratory symptoms and lung function in HIV-infected children. Her current research plans will explore the long term lung health of children living in rural Malawi, including the impact of household air pollution.
Sarah delivers postgraduate teaching on paediatric topics at LSTM.
