I completed my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. As part of this I undertook a year in industry placement working as a Molecular Biology Research Technician in Cambridge which inspired me to pursue a career in research. I would like to specialise in bioinformatics, working with genomic DNA sequences. I enjoy yoga and being outdoors as well as exploring new places and travelling, which I hope research in global health will help me to do alongside helping some of the world’s most vulnerable people. I am now excited to start my PhD working in the lively and cultural city of Liverpool.
