Dr Mike Coleman of LSTM's Vector Biology Department on 'data to improve vector control programmes'
Whether choosing appropriate vector or clinical control tools, data and information is required in a timely fashion to drive informed decision making at all stages in a disease control or elimination programme. However, data is often fragmented between different partners and sometimes within an individual organisation making it difficult to create a true picture of what is happening in the programme.
This talk will look at how tools developed at LSTM with partners have helped programmes overcome these issues and drive significant policy change.
