Northern Futures Bursary

Criteria 

  • LSTM funded bursary 

  • For students from, or having studied in, the north of England who have a permanent address there.  

Award Amount 

  • More than one award available 

  • Amounts available include up to 20% fee reduction

31 March 2025 

Eligibility 

  • Must be a national of a UK country or Ireland and domiciled in the UK or Ireland 

  • Fee status most be classed as Home students 

  • Must have a 2:1 or equivalent or above 

  • Must be Office for Students fundable, meaning you cannot hold an equivalent or higher-level qualification to the master’s programme you are applying for. 

  • Students must be based (home address) or have studied in (and retain an address) in the north of England in one of the following counties: 

  • Merseyside, Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire or South Yorkshire.   

Applications 

  •  The bursary will be applied automatically to those who are eligible once your deposit has been paid. There is no application process.
