I joined LSTM in January 2021 working as a technician within LITE (iiDiagnostics). I then started in my current position as a trainee study director in September 2022. In this role I oversee projects and assist in the design and implementation of studies to evaluate new insecticides or other vector control products in accordance with GLP standards.
Prior to LITE I worked as an associate practitioner in virology at the Royal Liverpool University hospital.
I completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biological Sciences at the University of Liverpool. For my dissertation I researched the use of malarial retinopathy as a diagnostic feature for cerebral malaria in developing countries.
