Radio Merseyside's Tony Snell spoke to LSTM’s Bertie Squire, Professor of Clinical Tropical Medicine and Dean of Clinical Sciences & International Public Health, on Radio Merseyside on the 22nd March.
As we approach the anniversary of lockdown in the UK, Bertie addressed the journey from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK to present day. He touched upon the work of LSTM staff this past year, and the crucial role of the Liverpool community who came forward to take part in the vaccine trials and mass testing.
