The CL3 containment laboratories in the Centre for Drugs and Diagnostics at LSTM are now being used to screen and validate potential drugs and diagnostics to target COVID-19. The CDD researchers have trained staff and student volunteers to CL3-standard so they can access these state-of-the art laboratories and equipment to support this work.
