The event will focus on maternal and child health in the context of unsteady health systems. We will focus on the emerging evidence about clinical implications of Covid-19, and the variability in how maternity care is being amended within and between countries, including differences in the guidelines issued by WHO and specific country guidelines. We will also explore how this variation might relate to prevailing cultural attitudes about gender, maternity and how maternity systems should operate.
