New scholarship opportunities for future leaders in Global Health from Ghana and Nigeria

LSTM is delighted to offer new scholarship opportunities to future leaders in global health from Ghana and Nigeria applying for a postgraduate qualification on our brand new, innovative and flexible Global Health programme.

The Global Health programme allows students to study online, part-time from anywhere in the world and has a modular structure with three routes: A Master of Science (MSc), Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate.

LSTM is committed to developing the next generation of Global Health Leaders. This new funding, The Global Health Future Leaders Scholarship, consists of :

  1. .          Two fully funded Postgraduate Certificate places (60 credits)
  2. .          Two fully funded Postgraduate Diploma places (120 credits)
  3. .          Partial tuition fee scholarships up to a maximum of £2,500 (These partial scholarships are open to all nationalities)

LSTM’s Director of Partnerships, Michael Lurie, said: “LSTM’s vision of developing the next generation of global health leaders is underpinned by this flagship programme. The addition of these generous scholarships mean that we can ensure that those rising stars in Ghana and Nigeria can enhance and share their expertise and join our global cohort of students.”

The scholarships are funded by a number of individuals, trusts and foundations. LSTM’s Global Health programme has been designed in response to employer feedback on required global health skills and competencies. The online learning approach allows flexibility and accessibility, thereby enabling students to remain in employment whilst being part of a network of like-minded global health experts across the globe.
