This seminar will give an overview of research in the Hughes lab which focuses on understanding host-microbe-pathogen interactions in mosquitoes and exploiting microbiota for novel vector control approaches.
Dr Grant Hughes is a Senior Lecturer and Royal Society Wolfson fellow in the Departments of Vector Biology and Parasitology at LSTM. Prior to his time at LSTM, Grant was an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
