IR-TEx is a web-based application written in Shiny R to explore available transcriptomic data comparing resistant and susceptible populations of Anopheles gambiae, coluzzii and arabiensis mosquitoes.

IR-TEx allows selection of datasets dependent on the user’s criteria. The fold changes of a selected transcript is displayed graphically, in addition to tabular format that may be downloaded. A map is provided with a traffic light system, demonstrating the significant expression of the selected transcript in each country. Finally, users can modify a correlation index in order to identify other transcripts closely following the same expression pattern of the transcript of interest, allowing identification of putative function and/or pathways. These data are also represented both graphically and in tabular format, which can be downloaded by the user.
