The Big Bang North West is a STEM celebration for school children aiming to show young people the exciting and rewarding career opportunities available to them by bringing classroom learning to life through fun and interactive activities.
A team from LSTM’s Parasitology Department, led by Dr Kelly Johnston, will return to the Big Bang North West at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool on the 10th of July. The team will give the young people the opportunity to see a wide selection of gruesome parasites, learn about treatment options and test their abilities to be a drug discovery scientist through a pipetting challenge!
