I joined LITE (iiDiagnostics) in April 2022 after finishing my B.Sc. in Zoology at Liverpool John Moores University. I have worked previously in clinical roles including a veterinary care assistant, and in 2020-21 completed an internship at Chester Zoo. This involved working with staff in their Endocrinology diagnostics lab to analyse and predict hormonal cycles, aiding animal collection teams in population management.
Within the LITE team I am responsible for the rearing of multiple colonies, along with performing various bioassays to determine the effectiveness of different chemical compounds used in the control of mosquito species. I also have additional roles, primarily involving procurement and WHO orders which are coordinated across the entire LSTM vector department.
