Improving Quality of Maternal and Newborn Health in Kenya
Mini-series is shining a spotlight on the Programme 'Improving Quality of Maternal and Newborn Health in Kenya' which has run for the past five years and was funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). The programme aims to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality in Kenya by providing support to develop, monitor and sustain successful strategies to improve the quality of maternal and new-born health and healthcare services.
In each of the four episodes we will be discussing different ways that the programme has strengthened the capacities of health practitioners to deliver high quality care, to reduce maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality.
