The second and third 90’s: where we are, challenges, successes and implications for practice

Euphemia Sibanda MSc PhD

UNAIDS have set global HIV treatment targets termed 90-90-90 which require that by 2020, 90% of people living with HIV are diagnosed, of whom 90% are on treatment and 90% of those on treatment are virally suppressed. The lecture will review progress in the attainment of the second and third 90 goals, including the successes and challenges.
