Radio Merseyside's Tony Snell spoke to LSTM’s Bertie Squire, Professor of Clinical Tropical Medicine and Dean of Clinical Sciences & International Public Health, on Radio Merseyside on the 2nd July.

Bertie addressed the recent localised lockdown in Leicester, changing in lockdown guidelines elsewhere across the country with the opening of more services, ending with his weekly crumb of comfort. This week's crumb of comfort was the opening of an oxygen concentration plant at the Malawi-Liverpool-Wellcome Programme which will produce over a million litres of oxygen a day for Blantyre’s Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and surrounding facilities.
