Radio Merseyside's Lisa Marrey spoke to LSTM’s Bertie Squire, Professor of Clinical Tropical Medicine and Dean of Clinical Sciences & International Public Health, on Radio Merseyside on the 30th July.

Bertie addressed the recent change in the guidelines on the length of isolation following onset of COVID-19 symptoms. His crumb of comfort, this week, was the announcement by Global Health Minister Wendy Morton MP that £15.5 million of UK Aid funding will support LSTM in its research on preventing the spread of infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and in strengthening health systems in fragile countries.
