We are excited to announce the return of Pint of Science to Liverpool between the 20th-22nd May at Oh Me Oh My (West Africa House, 25 Water St L2), The Baltic Social (27 Parliament St L8) and Frederiks (32 Hope St L1).

Pint of Science is a non-profit global organisation that brings some of the most brilliant scientists to your local pub to discuss their latest research and findings with you. Talks will also be taking place across the UK and in countries including France, Spain, Italy, Australia and Brazil. You don't need any prior scientific knowledge, and this is your chance to meet the people responsible for the future of science and have a pint with them.

Researchers and students from LSTM will be giving talks during A Journey to the Tropics at oh Me oh My on Wednesday 22nd May.  To attend, purchase tickets here to see Dr Tom Wingfield discussing the relationship between poverty and tuberculosis, CMNH’s Ms Terry Kana talk about the challenges to providing maternity care in low-resource settings and Ms Joanna Furnival-Adams address the role a home can have in the control of mosquitoes.

Tickets cost £4 each
