Beginning with a period of self-study and evaluation of around 20 hours, you will then start an intensive three-week taught element which takes place at our Liverpool campus, and concludes with a three-week assessment period supported by online tutoring.
On the course you will familiarise yourself with common health issues in overseas settings, while developing your analytical, problem solving and practical nursing skills.
You will gain factual knowledge and current best practice as well as developing your practical hands-on skills studying a curriculum that has informed by the requirements of orgnisations such as Medicins Sans Frontieres and Voluntary Service Overseas.
