Engagement meetings were held during the 1st week of June with the two regions that are participating in the INTE-AFRICA trial namely Dar es Salaam and Pwani.
The INTE-Africa team visited the regional offices to engage local leaders about the initiation of the project. In Pwani region the team met with the Regional Assistant Administrative Secretary Mr. Abdulrahman A. Mdimu and the Regional Medical Officer (RMO) Dr. Gunini Kamba. In Dar es Salaam Region meeting was held with the RMO Dr. Rashid Mfaume and later a presentation was held with 22 members of the regional health management team (RHMT).
