Victoria joined the school in November 2016 as a data manager. Previously Victoria worked as a SAS programmer at Covance in Leeds, a clinical trials research unit, gaining experience in Phase I Clinical Trials. During her time here she worked on a wide range of studies for many leading pharmaceutical clients worldwide performing complex data reconciliations and data consistency checks to produce SDTM (Study Data Tabulation Model) datasets in accordance with CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) standards.
Victoria graduated in 2015 with a First-class honours degree in Mathematics, averaging at 80% overall. She was also presented with an award in SAS at her graduation for outstanding achievement in her dissertation of a statistical nature, analysing data from a clinical trial using statistical methods.
Since joining the school Victoria has been involved in clinical trials with focus on HIV, malaria and tuberculosis.
