Tilly joined the Department of Clinical Sciences in June 2021 within the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group (CIDG) as part of the Research, Evidence and Development Initiative (READ-It).
She completed her Integrated Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Liverpool, which included a research placement at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, at their Tropical Disease Research Laboratory.
In June 2022, Tilly was appointed CIDG Review Synthesis Delivery Specialist, with responsibility for guiding reviews through the review development cycle and providing support to review authors.
Alongside this, Tilly has authored intervention reviews and diagnostic test accuracy reviews, with a particular interest in complex interventions. She has also contributed to the development of WHO Guidelines for malaria and mpox.
Teaching
Tilly has been involved in teaching on TROP973 Systematic Reviews for Policy and Practice, DTM&H, and LIFE 357 Advanced skills in Tropical Disease Biology.
