Sian Rogers

Research Midwife

Sian has been a midwife at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust since 2014. She has worked as a research midwife since 2016 delivering NIHR portfolio research in the clinical setting. Sian has been seconded to LSTM to work on a focused ethnography of perinatal bereavement support in Liverpool, for parents from ethnic minority backgrounds, aiming to understand existing provision and provide insight into the experience of parents from ethnic minority backgrounds in Liverpool.

Sian trained as a midwife in North Wales, receiving a Midwifery BM (Hons) from Bangor University. She completed an MSc in Midwifery at the University of Central Lancashire in 2023. Sian is a steering group member of the RCM Midwifery and Maternity Priority Setting Partnership and is a member of Northwest Maternity Research Network.
