Tracy Seddon

Programme Coordinator

Tracy is a Programme Coordinator with the Department of Clinical Sciences, supporting the IMPROVE and IMPROVE-2 programmes funded by EDCTP2 and the Joint Global Health Trials (10.5 million Euros).    Working with institutions across Africa and Europe Tracy supports Feiko Ter Kuile and Jenny Hill, coordinating the contractual, financial and administrative needs of the programmes, ensuring clear and accurate communications both within research consortia and with funders.

Tracy Seddon was employed by LSTM in 2009 as a Programme Administrator for several European funded programmes worth an estimated 25 million Euro’s.  From 2012 to 2014 Tracy supported Professor Imelda Bates to build the Capacity Research Unit which advocates Capacity Strengthening activities in hospitals, laboratories and research institutions across Africa. In 2014 Tracy moved to the Department of Clinical Sciences working with the Respiratory Research Unit.  With support from Professor Stephen Gordon, Tracy was responsible for assisting the development and growth of the Experimental Human Pneumococcal Challenge (EHPC) Team supporting activities fundamental to clinical science.
