Dr Rosalind McCollum

Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Rozi (Rosalind) McCollum is a health systems researcher with fourteen years of health-related experience. Originally trained as a medical doctor, Rozi holds a PhD in International Public Health (studying the process, power and politics of priority-setting for community health and equity following devolution in Kenya, as part of the REACHOUT consortium with LSTM). Rozi has experience in health systems research and project management. Prior to joining REDRESS, Rozi worked as a humanitarian aid worker in Iraq, supporting Ninewa DoH with strengthening the delivery of primary health care services, during the immediate post-conflict period.

Rozi will be working with the REDRESS research study, and will be seeking to support research which will seek to improve human resource management practices and patient engagement and person-centred approaches, with the aim of contributing towards improved care of people affected by severe stigmatised skin diseases (SSSDs).
