Katy Davis is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and social scientist. Her research focuses on issues of equity relating to disasters and health, with particular attention to contexts of protracted or 'creeping' disasters, including antimicrobial resistance, climate change, conflict and displacement. She currently works within the GEAR up consortium, a Fleming Fund regional grant that supports the mainstreaming of an intersectional equity lens into antimicrobial resistance surveillance and interventions. She has worked in multi-country research partnerships of various scales and has experience using qualitative and participatory research approaches.
