Eligibility Criteria
- Students who are at risk as a result of armed conflict, war and / or are displaced inside their country or have been forced to leave their country in the last three years due to conflict.
- Applicants to any master’s course
- Have a conditional offer from LSTM for their preferred course
- Self-funding students only
Award Amount
- One award available
- The value of this scholarship is £30,000 per year which can be used towards tuition fees and stipend for full-time, on-campus master’s courses or tuition fee only for our part-time, distance learning MSc Global Health
Applications
Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application form to be considered for this award. If you received an offer prior to January 2025, you will be sent a link to the live scholarship application form via email. Those receiving offers after this date will find the link to the scholarship application form on their Conditional Offer letter. The deadline to submit your application is 31 March 2025.
In the Your Statement section of the scholarship application form you must demonstrate the following in a maximum of 700 words:
- The risk you have faced as a result of armed conflict/war and/or if you have been displaced inside your country or been forced to leave your country in the past three years due to conflict.
- Explain your academic goals and/or research interests in connection to the course(s) you have applied for at LSTM.
- Demonstrate clearly the impact your studies will have to support your career, reducing health inequality and providing health leadership in emergency settings.
