Northern Futures Bursary
The Northern Futures Bursary is a financial award from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. It supports students from the north of England to study postgraduate courses in tropical medicine and global health.
Eligible students receive a 20% reduction in tuition fees for all full-time, on-campus master’s programmes. The bursary is applied automatically. No separate application is required.
Who Can Apply
- UK or Irish national, domiciled in the UK or Ireland.
- Must be from (have a home address) or have studied (and have an address) in one of the following counties in the north of England:
- Merseyside
- Cheshire
- Cumbria
- Greater Manchester
- Lancashire
- Northumberland
- Tyne and Wear
- Durham
- North Yorkshire
- West Yorkshire
- East Riding of Yorkshire
- South Yorkshire
- Must have Home fee status.
- Must not already hold an equivalent or higher-level qualification than the course you are applying for.
