Dr Catriona Waddington

PhD, 1992

Dr. Waddington, LSTM’s first health economist, dedicated her 20-year career to global health, from early fieldwork in Ghana and consulting for international organizations like GAVI, to fighting antimicrobial resistance before her retirement.

Dr Nsa Dada

MSc Biology and Control of Parasites and Disease Vectors, 2009

Dr. Nsa Dada, an ASU Assistant Professor and Mosquito Microbiome Consortium founder, used her LSTM master’s to become a leading mosquito-microbe scientist and an advocate for emerging African researchers.

Nick Prince

CTCH&M, 1997

Nick Prince, a dedicated humanitarian and public health professional, leveraged his 1997 education at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to transition into a highly decorated global frontline leader, coordinating complex medical responses across 17 international deployments for the Red Cross and UN.

Dr Giri Rajahram

DTM&H, 2007

Giri Rajahram, a renowned Infectious Diseases Consultant and Head of Medicine in Sabah, studied at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to spearhead clinical research on zoonotic Plasmodium knowlesi malaria, driving significant advancements in regional patient care and health policy.
