What makes Health Systems Resilient; perspectives from UK and abroad

We were joined by one of our distinguished alumni, Professor Andrew Furber OBE (DTM&H, 1995), the Regional Director of Public Health (North West England), Department of Health and Social Care, who shared his insights on the topic “What makes Health Systems Resilient; perspectives from UK and abroad.” Professor Furber was joined by LSTM’s Nara Tagiyeva-Milne, Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology, and Dr David Ishola, Senior Lecturer and public health physician at the National Public Health Agency in Wales. They bring extensive experience in public health both in the UK and overseas.
