LSTM Alumni Reception Geneva 2026

On April 7th, the LSTM community gathered in Geneva for an evening of networking.
The event provided a special opportunity to officially welcome LSTM’s recently appointed Chancellor, Elhadj As Sy, to the community. Attendees also heard from guest speaker Xavier Castellanos, Under Secretary General for National Society Development and Operations Coordination at the IFRC.
A major highlight of the night was the chance to bridge the gap between our established alumni and the next generation of global health professionals. Current LSTM master’s students, who were visiting Geneva to meet with global NGOs, joined the event to connect with the alumni network. It was a fantastic environment for graduates to share their field experiences, offer career advice, and inspire our eager students.
