The launch of the Captive Memories website - www.captivememories.co.uk - home to LSTM's Far East prisoner of war (or FEPOW) oral history study and its associated education project, has attracted a great deal of media attention since June.
First Guardian Education acclaimed its value for the primary source material made available to secondary education. Then BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour reporter Judy Merry visited the school in Wirral - Pensby High School for Girls - which is at the heart of the FEPOW education project.
