What will I learn?
The MSc in Global Health combines essential foundations in global health systems, leadership and health promotion with a choice of specialist topics to match your professional interests.
You’ll complete one core module, Global Health Practices, which introduces the key ideas, framework and actors shaping global health today.
You’ll then select six optional modules, choosing from areas such as:
- Health Promotion and Protection
- Leadership in Health Systems Management
- Climate Change and Health
- Global Health in Local Contexts
- Project Planning Skills
- Research Methods (Qualitative or Quantitative)
Your studies conclude with a dissertation project that applies your learning to a real-world global health issue.
This is a flexible, part-time course delivered entirely online. Most content is on-demand, so you can access materials and complete assessments to fit with your own schedule.
Youโll engage with recorded lectures, online resources, collaborative discussions and tutor support through a personalised virtual learning environment (VLE).
Each 20-credit module involves around 200 hours of study. You can complete the MSc in two to five years, depending on your circumstances.ย
