Mrs Tracy Seddon

Biography

Tracy Seddon is a Senior Programme Manager in the Department of Clinical Sciences, where she plays a central role in the delivery of large, multi‑country global health research programmes. With extensive experience coordinating consortium‑based initiatives across Africa and Europe, she specialises in project governance, operational management, and stakeholder coordination for complex clinical and implementation research. 

Tracy’s portfolio includes leadership within the PDMC Saves Lives project, a 3.5‑year EDCTP3‑ and EU‑funded initiative aimed at reducing severe malaria outcomes in vulnerable children across sub‑Saharan Africa. Her contributions span consortium management, risk monitoring, ethics and regulatory oversight, and cross‑institutional engagement, as evidenced by her involvement in project reporting, stakeholder engagement work packages, and the development of risk monitoring plans within project committees. She also supports the consolidation of research outputs into practical tools, policy‑relevant materials, and capacity‑strengthening frameworks for partner institutions. 

Beyond operational leadership, Tracy drives coordination for training, dissemination, and partner‑facing activities, frequently organising and facilitating meetings, technical sessions, and consortium communications. Her role also includes guiding collaborators through compliance processes and supporting timely delivery of project milestones, such as biography and website updates for project visibility and reporting. 

Through her structured, collaborative approach and commitment to high‑quality research delivery, Tracy contributes significantly to global health initiatives aimed at improving clinical outcomes, strengthening research ecosystems, and translating evidence into practice across diverse health systems.
