Research interests

My research focus is on the development of evidence synthesis methodology, and the production of high-impact evidence syntheses related to emerging infectious diseases and resilient health systems.

I am strongly interested in research that supports the delivery of more timely, contextual, and robust evidence syntheses for evidence-informed decision-making and policy development.

Biography

I lead LSTM’s involvement in the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Thematic Group, and co-lead LSTM’s World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Evidence Synthesis in Global Health.

Teaching

I teach systematic review methods, scientific writing, and evidence-informed decision-making. I am involved in teaching on the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and the MSc Tropical and Infectious Diseases.
