Dr Jennifer Ljungqvist

Biography

Applied health economist and health systems researcher with with over 15 years of professional experience, including in project management and 12 years dedicated to public health policy and research in low- and middle-income countries.

Experienced in quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as health financing analysis; economic, impact and process evaluations; econometric analysis; and the co-production of evidence-based public policy.

Former ODI Fellow and analyst in the Health Financing Unit at the Liberian Ministry of Health (2013-2015). Past consulting work in public health, health economics, governance and IT risk (2010-12, 2015-2022) for organisations such as the World Bank, EY (previously Ernst & Young), ODI Global, Abt Global (previously Abt Associates), the Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation in Nigeria and Interational Organization for Migration (IOM).Β 

Part of the Global Health Economics and Financing Unit (GHEFU), Institute for Resilient Health Systems and Climate Environment and Health Working Group, at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
