Join us to find out more about our Diploma in Tropical NursingΒ January 2027 entry.

This course is for you if you cannot attend the campus-based version of the Diploma in Tropical Nursing. As a nurse, midwife or allied health professional, you can make a huge contribution to the health, wellbeing and prosperity of some of the poorest populations in the world, by combining your experience with the specialised tools you will gain from the diploma. The online version of the diploma will have 200 learning hours and can be studied asynchronously, so students can work through the learning content at their own pace. There will also be virtual touchpoints throughout the course to meet experts in live sessions.

The Diploma in Tropical Nursing will help you develop your analytical, problem-solving and practical nursing skills. You’ll focus on clinical learning and also build your competence in areas such as leadership, quality improvement, strategy development and resilience strategies. You’ll develop the tools to help you respond to the demands of working in humanitarian settings and low-and middle-income countries, where resources are limited. It will prepare you to deliver specialised care competently and confidently, helping communities to thrive in challenging situations.

You’ll hear from the Director of Studies,Β Terry Kana.
