Gillian Kyalo

Programme Manager

Gillian is employed as Operations Manager for the Monitoring and Evaluation, Technical Assistance and Research unit.  This role involves supporting the Head of Unit to consolidate and expand the unit’s resource base and to manage the day to day operations, ensuring that programme deliverables are met, on time and on budget.

Gillian has been employed by LSTM and its subsidiary company, LATH, since 2008, working in project management roles for vector control, maternal and newborn health, neglected tropical diseases, capacity building of human resources for health and LQAS projects.

Gillian holds a MA in International Development Management from the University of Manchester, a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and a Prince2 Practitioner Project Management qualification.

Gillian has over 20 years’ experience in project management, fundraising and organisational development.  She has worked in Kenya, Tanzania and the UK for the UN, international and national NGOs, an academic institution and consulting organisation.  Areas of expertise include strategic and project planning, project management, donor and aid co-ordination, proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation.
