Henrietta graduated from the University of Liverpool with BSc (Hons) in Biological sciences in 2015. She then went on to complete her Masters in Biology and Control of Parasites and Disease Vectors at LSTM graduating in 2016. During her Master’s she worked with Professor Steve Torr and Dr Mark Paine to optimise an insecticide quantification kit for its use on tiny targets used in tsetse fly control. She also travelled to Uganda to work with the Ugandan tsetse control programme collecting tsetse flies and deploying tiny targets in the field.
Henrietta currently works as a technician in the Liverpool Insect Testing Establishment at LSTM. In her role she is responsible for rearing mosquitoes and performing bioassays to determine resistance to new and repurposed insecticides.
